KONA GIVE BACK
More Than Sport is excited to partner with Lift Up America and Ambassadors of Compassion following the Hawaii Ironman World Championships this October 2012. With your help we will mentor and coach teens of this amazing island we all enjoy. They are the future and many of them have never had anyone to look up to or teach them critical life principles that every person should know and incorporate into their life in order to reach their full potential.
Ambassadors of Compassion brings together the proven and practical wisdom and expertise learned by leaders and influencers from around the world and infuses their knowledge and experience into a curriculum we will follow to impact the hearts of our youth.
What Does The Mentoring Journey Look Like?
The Ambassadors of Compassion journey is an 8-week interactive course experience developed for youth 13 years of age and older designed to teach students critical life principles that every person should know and incorporate into their life in order to reach their full potential. Weekly group team meetings led by Ambassador of Compassion team Coaches focus on AOC's leadership model, "Train, Measure, and Honor." The journey requires all students to participate in a group LABOR project designed to make a difference in their community.
